God is Revealed
There is an ancient attraction in Beijing, China, called the ‘Heavenly Altar’ where tourists flock to witness an ancient practice – Chinese emperors offering prayers and sacrifices to the ‘Supreme God’ for blessings and peace to govern the nation. This ‘Supreme God’ however remains unknown.
The Apostle Paul who met the risen Christ on the Damascus road (Ac. 9. 3-5), would later proclaim the good news to another group of people in Athens (Ac. 17. 16), that Jesus has revealed to them the God they worshipped at an altar with the inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.
Christmas reminds us that God has spoken fully and finally in Christ. (Heb. 1. 1) In Jesus, God has been revealed to us. “No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known.” (Jn. 1.18) Jesus Himself declared: “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” (Jn. 14.9)
John, the Apostle, testifies, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (Jn. 1. 14) To a spiritually lost world still in search for answers to life’s many problems, let the redeemed of the Lord say so! “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (Jn. 3.16)
This day, this Christmas, everyday, let the good news ring out all across our troubled and lost world!

REAP In Many Many Lands (RMML) – A Decade of Moving Ahead
We give thanks to Almighty God for a decade of moving ahead in the work of REAP in Many Many Lands. Having begun with the first 16 evangelists in rural China, the work of RMML has spread to 13 countries of Asia. The collective labour of over 500 REAP evangelists as of September 2017 yielded:
Over 3 million gospel tracts distributed, Over 115,000 conversions to Christ, Over 33,000 baptisms, and Over 850 new rural churches planted.
We give God the glory and we thank each and every supporter and prayer partner for the encouraging outcome of partnership in the gospel. (Phil. 1: 3 -5)
Thus far 32,000 bibles have been given to new believers compared to 115,000 new converts. We ask you to prayerfully consider contributing bibles to new converts for ongoing Christian discipleship. (See article on: ’Christmas Gift Bibles for New Believers’).
Each REAP evangelist’s support is only Rm200 per month or Rm2400 per year. A sustained support for 3 years per evangelist will typically see over 30 ~ 50 conversions and a new rural church planted besides several hundreds receiving the good news of Christ. Keen to invest in the saving of souls and church planting in the rurals of Asia? See attached REAP response form. Do join in the harvest!
